oh, the DVD plays fine on the PC but how do I copy it onto the PC. It can autoplay with Windows Media Center, and WinDVD Toshiba. But how do I copy it and edit. Windows Movie Maker does not recognize it. The DVD has two top level directories, VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS.

It is easy to record, e.g. a soccer game from my DVR to my LG DVD recorder. How, I can take the video from the DVD onto my PC and how to edit on my Windows Vista PC? I would like to create real-game situations to show to kids that I coach.

It appears that I can record from FIOS to a DVD Recorder. Can I do the same from FIOS to a VCR?

And, with either of thse, can I record one program to my DVR,or VCR, or DVD recorder, while watching another channel?
