Having had Vonage for 3 years now, I agree with your assessment of them. While their plan options are what attracted me in the first place, there are 2 reasons I find them frustrating. First, their customer service is convoluted and it's often difficult to get a straight answer. Second, due to a struggle between Verizon and Vonage, my number wasn't transferred to Vonage for 90 days. During that time, no one could tell me why this was taking so long, only that they were terribly sorry. I have no idea if this is the norm or not, and hope for your sake that it won't take that long for you!
