Unfortunately, the above comments are all too common and all too true! I don't know of any communication greed monster out there that really cares about the customer. If anyone does, please enlighten...

Meanwhile, back to the ol' roof antenna. At least the birds are happy!

I agree with everyone. I signed up with the triple play and was told with all the charges my bill would be $120-$130 a month. I have yet to see one under $200. In the process of cancelling as I type this.

I changed by package and received my new pro=rated bill.....then i called to get information on the higher price on the bill ... than quoted. I found it very confusing and not what we discussed for the new change.

I think they try to get you confused and now I am trying to get some comparisons between Comcast and Verison. I have 30 days to cancel this new bundle.

THESE PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEIR PEOPLE TRAINED TO QUOTE PRICING AS IT REALLY IS!!!

worst customer service. . .i regret even getting verizon! can't wait for the contract to be over. They never explain the contract clearly. When you agree to the terms, they tell you that the call is being recorded, but when you tell them that the terms weren't explained and ask them to review the recording, they say they didn't record it. And their representatives are very rude and impatient! I advice people NOT to get verizon, its a HUGE mistake of mine, try not to make my mistake!

Verizon Triple play package is NO REAL DEAL AT ALL! I made one phone to Verizon to set-up the package, but on occasions when I had to call in with an issue or question, I would have to call different numbers for each service in particular for the DirecTV. The first time I tried to cancel, they honored it, but came back with a discount package so I agreed to remain with them. No one informed me that once a cancellation goes into effect it can not be reversed-interesting, that was a big ordeal and several phone calls to get everything going again. After I realized the deal was misleading and I was not going to get the actual deal offered, I told them to discontinue my services, they told me I was under a CONTRACT with the internet portion that I knew nothing about. Then after paying what I thought was a final bill, VERIZON sent me a credit in the amount $64.14-great they prorated the time my services ended. About two weeks later I got a bill from DirecTV saying I owed $150. I knew it had to be a mistake and they had not been informed of my disconnect date yet. Turns out, DirecTV's bill is a month behind, they paid Verizon some amount on my account that left Verizon with that extra $64 and instead of Verizon giving it back to DirecTV and putting it towards my balance, they sent it to me with no explanation and my services were never disconnected from DirecTV because I had to call them individually (through a triple pack that I dialed one number to turn on), so they continued to bill and charged a late fee. They had no regards for my situation and refused to adjust the bill. I contacted the BBB and will NEVER USE VERIZON/DIRECTV AGAIN!
